The Hollows Pond Update

The Hollows Pond is on the project list for 2017. We are in process of obtaining bids which will be reviewed by your Master Board of Directors. Upon approval and acceptance of a bid, the pond work can be scheduled.

The reason the water level on the upper pond is low is a result of issues with the waterfall area having seepage and leaks. We will keep you posted on the progress of the Hollows Ponds as information is obtained.

CC Canal Central Pathway Update

The CC Canal Central pathway is still closed for construction. For your safety, please remain off of the pathway until construction is complete. Here are some before and after photos of completed work below.

Wildlife

We have contacted the Irving Animal Services (972-721-2256), and the Dallas Fort Worth Wildlife Control (972-954-9244) to discuss bobcats. Both parties informed us not to trap bobcats but to make noise and spray water at them. In addition, here are a few more tips:

Recycle & Shred Day

It's that time again! Bring your recyclables and sensitive documents to be donated and shredded.

Give Back!

One of our very own Valley Ranch residents is collecting for Irving Cares. Once you are finished shredding, continue down the drive-thru to the Irving Cares' drop off to donate supplies and canned goods.

Volunteers will be available to help carry items out of your vehicles.

Community-Wide Garage Sale

The Valley Ranch Community Garage Sale begins tomorrow! Here are few things to remember:

1. If you are hosting a garage sale, please do not place your garage sale signs in the medians, on trees, street signs, or telephone poles. Signs may be placed at the end of your street or near your sale.

Gardens For Wildlife Program

Valley Ranch is partnering with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) to become certified as a Wildlife Habitat Community. With your participation we can support pollinators – birds, hummingbirds, bees and butterflies – in our own outdoor spaces.

Wildlife needs our help and you can make a difference

Human activity has diminished wildlife habitat pushing butterflies and other pollinators into ever-shrinking spaces. You can invite wildlife back by planting a simple garden habitat in your home, business, school, balcony or apartment community.

Guide to Spring Cleaning

Spring is finally here, which means it’s time to dust off winter and freshen up!

Between April and June, community-wide inspections will begin. During the  inspections, we review the overall appearance of your property  including, but not limited to, landscape, fencing, and exterior paint finish. We’ve put together a short list to help you  prepare.

Construction on CC West Canal Pathway

Construction on the CC West canal pathway has begun this week by Rodeo Drive and Valley Ranch Parkway West. Please know that the pathways are all blocked off for your safety until this project is complete. We will keep you updated as work progresses.

Relay For Life in Valley Ranch

Immediately following the Ladybug Release meeting we will discuss the opportunities for the upcoming Relay For Life event in Valley Ranch. Would you like to be a part of the fight to end cancer and help save more lives? Would you like to share an evening with cancer survivors and pay tribute to loved ones lost to the disease? If this is you, plan to attend this informational meeting for Relay For Life. We would like to create a team to participate in the Relay For Life Irving event, but we need your support.
